Pat Driscoll at the wheel of the #25 works-Aston Martin LM9, hammering down the Mulsanne Straight during an early morning rain shower during the 1933 Le Mans 24-hours - followed by John Ludovic Ford in the MG Midget J4 C. Driscoll & his racing partner Clifton Penn-Hughes would eventually finish 5th overall, but win the 1.5l class - just ahead of the chasing MG of Ford/Baumer. The overall race winner's featured the pairing of Raymond Sommer and legend Tazio Nuvolari, for whom this race would be his only Le Mans appearance.
