(A race he won despite having drunk 4 bottles of champagne during the race).
The Ballot 3/8 LC was a cutting edge race car of its time, and beat its more established Italian rival; Fiat to win the inaugural Italian GP, with a 1-2 finish & all podium finishers being Frenchmen.
